What types of shoots do you offer?
I specialize in portraits, specifically senior photos, family photos, childrens portraits, headshots, branding, engagement, and maternity shoots. I do NOT shoot weddings, newborns, or boudoir photos. I'm happy to point you to other photographers who specialize in those areas.
How many images will I receive?
The number of images you receive depends on the package you choose. My packages are designed around the number of images you prefer, from 5 to 50+. I a wide range of options to suit your exact needs.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No, I do NOT require print minimums. Ordering prints is totally optional but I do offer a wide range of archival quality prints, canvases, and metal prints at a discounted rate.
How would you describe your photography style?
I describe my photography as artistically crafted creative portraiture. I work primarily with natural light. With thoughtful composition and creative editing, I strive to produce timeless works of art for my clients.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a $200 deposit is required to book and schedule your session and the remaining balance is due the day of your session.
Can I just have the RAW images?
No way! The images in your gallery will be professionally edited and available for you to download. I do NOT provide RAW unedited images, ever. You are investing in my shooting and editing style, not just the photo shoot.
What kind of gear do you use?
I have loved my Canon 6D for almost ten years. My bestie lens is my 50mm 1.2 to create those beautiful bokeh backgrounds.
What if I need to cancel my session?
Life happens. Sessions may be rescheduled for various reasons including illness, family emergencies, weather, etc. Deposits are non-refundable.
Do your gift cards expire?
Yes! Gift Cards are valid for one year from purchase.
Can my pet be included in family photos?
Yes, unless you have a pet snake or a tarantula. All exotic meat eaters should also stay home.
What is your schedule like and how far out do I need to book my session?
Fall is my crazy busy season- book those autumn sessions as early as possible. Senior pics are scheduled year round and I open up weekday slots when necessary. I recommend planning 6 weeks or more in advance.
Can you control the weather?
Not usually. Please note that your session will be rescheduled in the event of rain or extreme temperatures. I do not shoot when it's over 95 degrees or below 35 degrees. Me and my equipment are way too delicate for that.
Can you edit out my ___________?
Reasonable requests always accepted. I will edit out your pimple, lipstick on your teeth, a pooping dog in the background, etc. I probably won't edit out your ex-husband's mother from last year's shoot- you'll have to book a new session.
What if my kids misbehave during their session?
I dunno? This has never ever happened to me. Kids find me hilarious.
Why should I choose you as my photographer?
I'll bring treats to your session if you do.
